On Thursday evening, the Bolesławiec audience gathered in the Forum hall had the opportunity to take part in a traditional Polish wedding. The comedians—Joanna Kołaczkowska, Dariusz Kamys, Tomasz Majer and Łukasz Pietsch—skillfully, intelligently and with great humor mocked the stereotypes associated with one of the most important moments in life. Short sketches were interspersed with wedding songs and sing-alongs. The wedding band was played by musicians from BON TON: Waldemar Franczyk on percussion and keyboards, Karol Pietsch on drums, Grzegorz Piotrowski on guitar, Bartek Pietsch on bass, and Paweł Pietsch on saxophone. The event was hosted by the master of ceremonies, Remigiusz. There was also a cameraman, Aunt Ela—the wedding vamp—as well as uninvited guests.

The newlyweds were welcomed with bread and salt, rice was thrown, the first dance took place, and family photographs were taken. The Groom could not avoid doubts connected with the most important decision of his life. The audience actively participated in the wedding party, taking on the roles of guests and offering their congratulations. Some of them also had the opportunity to appear on stage as the parents of the young couple or as the Groom’s former sweetheart.

The audience thanked the performers for an unforgettable evening with thunderous applause. The comedians invited everyone to their newest program, prepared together with Kabaret Jurki, “Actor in the Fence,” which will take place on November 26 in the Forum hall. This is a must-see.
