As Przemysław Rogowski, director of the Municipal Waste Management Office of the City Hall, reports, during the last collection, held in the autumn of last year, more than 150 tonnes of bulky waste were collected. These were mainly old pieces of furniture: armchairs, wardrobes, wall units and other items.

We remind you which types of waste will be collected.

  • bulky waste, e.g. tables, wardrobes, chairs, sofas, prams, mattresses, etc.
  • used electrical and electronic equipment, e.g. refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, microwave ovens, electric heaters, fans, air-conditioning equipment, vacuum cleaners, irons, toasters, deep fryers, computers, laptops, fax machines, mobile phones, radios, drills, saws, sewing machines, etc.

Please remember that bulky waste and used electrical and electronic equipment do not include any kind of construction or sanitary elements, such as boards, beams, panels, window frames, radiators or tiles, as well as car parts, mopeds, petrol lawnmowers, renovation waste or garden waste. This type of rubbish should be taken by its owners to Selective Municipal Waste Collection Points (PSZOK).

In multi-family housing, used equipment should be placed at waste collection points, by the enclosures. Make sure that vehicles collecting the items can access these locations.
