We already know the programme of the DKFBOK Film Discussion Club. At weekly meetings at Kino Forum, film enthusiasts will discuss three titles in April.

  • SECOND CHANCE, directed by Susanne Bier (who won an Oscar for the film "In a Better World"), is a psychological thriller, but as is usually the case with this director, the suspenseful plot serves as a starting point for reflections on morality, the boundaries between good and evil, the point to which a "normal" person may go, and what determines this normality. The director says of her film: “Second Chance is an intense drama about people who must face events they are completely unable to control”;
  • WHO AM I. You Can Be Whoever You Want – a brilliantly made story about a young outsider and loser who becomes a member of the CLAY hacker group. In real life, Benjamin is nobody; online, he can be whoever he wants. Attacks on corporations and pharmaceutical companies gather momentum and attract the attention of the special services and Europol. Cyberspace proves to be just as fascinating as it is dangerous…
  • THE GOLDEN CAGE – a film showered with awards at the Cannes International Film Festival. Directed by Diego Quemada-Diez, it addresses the issue of illegal migration, a mass phenomenon in South America. Very often, attempts to reach the United States from Mexico and Guatemala end tragically.

Season tickets go on sale from 30 March! Seats can be reserved on the CINEMA WEBSITE. You are welcome.
