The players from ZSP im. Adama Mickiewicza in Lubań proved to be the best in the Group B semifinal competition of the Jelenia Góra Zone Championship for Upper-Secondary Schools in Handball. The team’s coach is Jerzy Witukiewicz.
Second place went to the handball players from the Zespół Szkół Budowlanych in Bolesławiec, coached by Rafał Tertel, while third place was taken by representatives of ZSZiL in Zgorzelec.
The handball teams from Lubań and Bolesławiec advanced to the zonal final. The competition was organized by the Powiatowe Centrum Edukacji i Kształcenia Kadr in Bolesławiec.
