The “work” in this case is the annual County Talent Support Program implemented by the County Centre for Education and Staff Training in Bolesławiec in cooperation with educational institutions of Bolesławiec County. In turn, the crowning end of the work can be considered the ceremony of presenting awards to competition winners, which took place at the Old Theatre on 12 June 2024.
In the 2023/2024 school year, students took part in 24 competitions, 7 of which were included in the list of the Lower Silesian Education Superintendent, meaning that they could receive additional points in the recruitment process for secondary school. A total of 7754 participants took part in all competitions organized by PCEiKK during the school year, and 1015 students qualified for the county stages.
A total of 274 students from Bolesławiec County became winners. PCEiKK also co-organized the Lower Silesian subject competitions zDolny Ślązak—the county stages, in which 130 students from our county took part.
This year’s gala was opened by the host of the ceremony, Bolesławiec County Head Tomasz Gabrysiak. In his speech, he recognized the effort, activity and commitment of the students, teachers, PCEiKK methodical advisers, parents, as well as the directors of schools and preschools, and warmly thanked them. In the first part, awards were presented to preschoolers and primary school students, while the second part honored secondary school students. The stage was filled with emotion, congratulations, joy and, of course, gifts.
