These were genuine intergenerational workshops, as the participants included children, their parents and grandparents. According to Catholic tradition, on Palm Sunday the faithful bring Easter palms to churches. Traditionally prepared from willow branches, they symbolize the resurrection and immortality of the soul. The palms are often decorated with flowers and ribbons. On Palm Sunday, which is the first day of Holy Week, the brought Easter palms are blessed. The workshops “All About the Easter Palm,” held on March 21 at BOK-MCC, continue this tradition, which dates back to the Middle Ages. Entire families took part in the activities, from the youngest children of preschool age to their parents and grandparents. More than 60 people prepared Easter palms together with instructors Dorota Dziedzic-Lechowska, Katarzyna Zarówny and Agnieszka Podłaszczyk.
