Ladies and Gentlemen
Once again, you have proven that social sensitivity and helping those most in need are not foreign to you. Openness to other cultures and an attitude of tolerance are deeply rooted in your awareness. The UNICEF-patronized “All the Colours of the World III” campaign, which involved sewing a rag doll—a symbol of help—and then donating the proceeds from its auction to vaccinate children in South Sudan, proved that you are able to share what you have. You surprised us with your creativity and commitment. The dolls were sewn by parents, grandparents and children. Thanks to intergenerational cooperation, small rag works of art were created—the dolls are an impressive result. In total, the two preschools raised PLN 1,192.00, which was transferred to the account of UNICEF Poland. Every PLN 10 from the donated amount will enable one child from South Sudan to be vaccinated against the most serious childhood diseases, thereby saving their life.
Why was it worth taking part in the campaign? The answer seems obvious! In addition to the fantastic fun involved in sewing the dolls, you contributed to improving the lives of children around the world. Without your participation, the children would not have received life-saving vaccines. We thank you on their behalf.
