New heads were appointed at the District Prosecutor’s Offices in Zgorzelec, Bolesławiec and Lwówek Śląski. They are the former deputy district prosecutors:
- in Zgorzelec – Artur Barcella
- in Bolesławiec – Ewa Łomnicka
- in Lwówek Śląski – Marcin Piekarski.
In the three remaining offices (the District Prosecutor’s Offices in Jelenia Góra, Kamienna Góra and Lubań), the positions of district prosecutors for a second four-year term were entrusted to the existing heads of those offices.
The former district prosecutor in Bolesławiec, Regina Haniszewska, will retire on 1 April after 41 years of service.
Meanwhile, former Zgorzelec district prosecutor Dariusz Kończyk and former head of the Lwówek Śląski office Jerzy Szkapiak returned to their duties at their home office, the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Jelenia Góra, on 16 March of this year.
