New heads were appointed at the District Prosecutor’s Offices in Zgorzelec, Bolesławiec and Lwówek Śląski. They are the former deputy district prosecutors:
- in Zgorzelec – Artur Barcella
- in Bolesławiec – Ewa Łomnicka
- in Lwówek Śląski – Marcin Piekarski.
In the three remaining units (the District Prosecutor’s Offices in Jelenia Góra, Kamienna Góra and Lubań), the positions of district prosecutors were entrusted to the current heads of those units for a second four-year term.
The former district prosecutor in Bolesławiec, Regina Haniszewska, will retire on 1 April after 41 years of service.
Meanwhile, the former district prosecutor in Zgorzelec, Dariusz Kończyk, and the former head of the unit in Lwówek Śląski, Jerzy Szkapiak, returned to their duties at their parent unit, the District Prosecutor’s Office in Jelenia Góra, on 16 March this year.
