Mirosława Mitek was appointed treasurer at the request of the city’s mayor. The previous treasurer, Zbigniew Walasiński, himself requested that his employment contract be terminated.
The city’s new treasurer has been a long-standing employee of the City Hall. Since 1995, she had served as deputy treasurer. Mirosława Mitek will take up the position on June 16.
