The Why group embodies musical taste, fresh style and original form. The group members are: Agata Durał — vocals, lyrics and vocal lines; Jarosław Michalski — guitar, loops and compositions; Rafał Zaczkowski — bass guitar and great humour; Wojtek Łabudzki — drums, loops and lyrics. The artists know perfectly well what a musical feast of brilliantly composed and performed songs in a rock-pop and new-pop style means.
They are described as musicians of the new generation. They operate on two fronts by combining a strong, distinctive yet still pop sound with a touch of feminine delicacy and gentleness. Their songs, most of which are the band’s original compositions, feature melodic vocal lines as well as refined instrumental parts, which together create an extraordinary musical performance. The music they create is a combination of what each band member likes, and the elements brought together produce an almost perfect result.
