The International Table Tennis Tournament for People with Disabilities was held in Slovakia. TOP SON Bolesławiec player Waldemar Krzemiński and Mirosław Kowalski represented Poland in the team tournament. After three days of competition, the Polish representatives won a bronze medal. They played against the German team in the match for third place. In this encounter, the Bolesławiec resident unexpectedly defeated Rainer Schmidt of Germany, the reigning Olympic vice-champion.

In the individual tournament, Waldemar Krzemiński finished in a very good 5th place, among the 32 best players in Europe. At the Slovak tournament, the Bolesławiec resident once again proved that he has a strong chance of representing Poland at the Olympic Games in Beijing. This would be a great distinction for the club and Bolesławiec.
