On May 24, the Local Job Fair was held at the headquarters of the Powiat Employment Office and the Career Information and Planning Center in Bolesławiec. It was aimed at unemployed people and anyone interested in taking up work in the near future.
Offers from six employers were presented: BDN, Bader Polska, Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlane INTER-BAUPOL, PHU OLEŃKA, Przedsiębiorstwo Wielobranżowe COMFORT and PPHU "AMMA". These companies are looking for employees with primary, basic vocational, secondary and higher education, including for the following occupations: human resources specialist, occupational health and safety specialist, team leader, sewing department manager, product manager, production process optimization specialist, seamstress, leather-processing worker, construction technician, civil engineer, locksmith, welder, carpenter, steel fixer, concreter, chemist, IT specialist, bricklayer, construction worker, roofer-sheet metal worker, thermal insulation installer, cook, waiter, bartender, machinery and equipment operator, forklift operator, shipping department worker, mechanic, electronics technician, electrician, production planning specialist, electroplater and plasterer. Around 200 job offers were presented in total.
Personal invitations to participate in the fair were sent to 650 unemployed people, as well as students from Bolesławiec schools (Zespół Szkół Handlowych, Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych, Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych and Zespół Szkół Budowlanych), and clients of municipal and communal social welfare centers in Bolesławiec County.
