The meeting was initiated by the head of Rudna Municipality Władysław Bigus. Opening the meeting, the municipal head congratulated the village heads on their election and wished them fruitful work for the benefit of the local community. New village heads were elected in 12 localities, while in 18 village districts their heads remained unchanged; therefore, the meeting was not only working in nature but also served as an opportunity for integration.

The invited guests who work with the village heads on a daily basis also attended the meeting: head of Rudna Municipality Władysław Bigus, chair of the Municipal Council Jerzy Stankiewicz, director of the Chobienia Cultural Centre Katarzyna Przeworska, director of the Cultural Centre in Rudna Bernard Langner, director of the Municipal Communal and Housing Services Halina Zbrońska, director of the Municipal Social Welfare Centre Dorota Wojtun-Kobylańska, head of the Prevention Unit, Staff Sergeant Adam Zarzecki, head nurse at the Miedziowe Centrum Zdrowia S.A. clinic in Rudna Małgorzata Trzos, and Rudna Municipal councillors: Roman Pastuch, Robert Roskosz, Andrzej Górzny, Zdzisław Lipiszczak.

The meeting covered such issues as healthcare, assistance for the poorest, cultural and sports and recreational activities in the municipality, water management and safety.

The village head of the year was also selected during the meeting. The title was awarded to Danuta Smolna and Irena Habura, while the honorary marshal was the longest-serving village head in Rudna Municipality, Michał Kościelniak.

The meeting was organizational in nature. In particular, the participants discussed the responsibilities arising from the statutes of the village districts, village heads, village councils and village assemblies. Information was also provided on spending the funds separated in the municipal budget for the village districts and on their accounting. Details are available on the Rudna Municipality website.
