The incident occurred on Friday, February 6, at a petrol station in Szczytnica (Warta Bolesławiecka commune). At around 7:00 a.m., a bar caught fire—a wooden hut with a thatched roof. As we managed to establish, there were three employees and about eight customers inside. Someone entered the building and informed those present that a fire had broken out. Everyone then went outside. No one was hurt.
Firefighters are at the scene. The fire is being extinguished and the building is being dismantled. The operation will probably continue for several more hours.
Officers are determining the cause of the fire. It is already known that it started in the roof.
