The “Kamerton” Choir of the State Music School from Bolesławiec stayed in Ukraine during the last week of April. It was invited by the choir of Music School No. 3 in the city of Kirovohrad and the local Association of Poles. At the All-Ukrainian Choir Festival, the residents of Bolesławiec performed: “Canon PerCrucen,” “Balladę Podbeskidzką,” “Alleluja Boysa,” and “Negros Spirituales Jerico.” The residents of Bolesławiec won a First-Degree Silver Diploma and the title of laureate.
A total of 26 choirs performed at the Ukrainian festival. In addition to their festival performance, our choristers took part in a gathering of choirs and the Catholic community at the Catholic church in Kirovohrad. The residents of Bolesławiec donated gifts to the community and invited the choir from Kirovohrad to Bolesławiec.
