On Thursday, 29 January, at 7:00 p.m., awards will be presented at CIK “Orzeł” in the photography competition “The New Face of Bolesławiec – Culture, Sport and Economy”.
During Thursday’s meeting of the OKO Orła club, awards will be presented in the photography competition organised by the “Camera” Photographic Association under the patronage of Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman. The competition winners will receive awards.
The jury awarded first place to Krzysztof Jędrzejczyk, second place to Paweł Kijewski, and third place to Bartosz Witaszczyk. Six people received honourable mentions: Mariusz Ryż, Andrzej Pękała, Magda Konieczna, Paweł Kośliński, Grzegorz Sidorowicz and Łukasz Nadwodny.
The event will include a post-competition exhibition and a presentation of the 2015 city calendar featuring the winning works. The idea behind the competition was to show, through photography, the charm of Bolesławiec, interesting people, unusual events, as well as scenes from everyday life: cultural, sporting and economic events organised in our city.
