During the concert, the guitar workshop was represented by sisters Barbara and Ola Lecyk. Wojciech Andrzejewski, together with Mirkiem Kucem, played a technically very demanding piece from Al Di Meola’s repertoire, “Mediterranean Sundance.” The vocal workshop musicians—Eliza Sondaj, Anna Wróblewska, Aleksandra Gołaszewska, Ada Knapik, Tomasz Musialik and Dawid Meier—sang carols.
The songs included both Polish carols, such as “Gdy śliczna panna,” and contemporary pieces related to the theme of Christmas, such as “Coraz bliżej święta.” There were also international hits, including “New York, New York.”
At the end, the performers prepared a small surprise for their colleague Ada Knapik, who celebrated her 19th birthday that day. The musicians and audience sang “Sto lat” to the birthday girl.
