This applies to both single-family and multi-family housing. Legnickie Przedsiębiorstwo Gospodarki Komunalnej will collect the “trees” on Saturdays, January 24 and 31 this year. They should be placed by waste shelters.
Let us recall that Christmas trees belong to the category of biodegradable waste, which, pursuant to the resolution of the City Council “on establishing the Regulations for Maintaining Cleanliness and Order in the Municipality of Legnica,” is collected from April to November.
Christmas trees removed from homes can also be handed in free of charge at the Selective Municipal Waste Collection Points located at 1 Rzeszotarska Street and 48 Nowodworska Street.
