This beautiful anniversary was an occasion to honor them with the Medal for Long Marital Life, awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland to couples who have spent fifty years in a lasting relationship.
The decoration ceremony for the golden couple from Zgorzelec was conducted by the Mayor of Zgorzelec, Rafał Gronicz, who wished the honorees health, joy, love and many successes in their continuing life together.
