For several years now, municipal police officers have been conducting the “Battery” operation, aimed at drivers whose vehicle has broken down. Municipal police officers are equipped with a so-called jump starter, which helps select the appropriate “power” for a particular car and start a discharged battery.
The operation is conducted throughout the year, not only during the winter. Anyone experiencing a battery problem can, between 7:15 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., call the duty number 986 to receive free assistance quickly.
