When they decided twenty years ago to record their family carol singing on an album, some members of the current lineup had not yet been born. The originality of the compositions and arrangements meant that the program was recorded several times for TVP, and the carols from the album became a permanent part of radio stations’ Christmas repertoire. They played many concerts, inviting other musical families to collaborate, including the Steczkowskis, Sojkas and Trebunie. Years ago, it was at their concerts that the highlander quartet now known as Zakopower made its debut.

Today, the Pospieszalscy still play with their children, but those little boys are now professional musicians, performing alongside their parents in various groups, including Michał Urbaniak, Arka Noego, Voo Voo, Deus Meus, 2TM,23, Zakopower, Transkapela, New Life M, Raz Dwa Trzy, Dzieci z Brodą, Daga Dana, Janusz Prusinowski Trio, Adam Strug, Wojciech Mazolewski, Gardzienice Theatre and Kapelanka.

Most of them have mastered several instruments, which means that one moment the ensemble sounds like a brass band, the next like a jazz band, and then like a chamber orchestra. The most beautiful pastorale songs and carols will be performed in original arrangements, ranging from refined classical versions, through folk sounds, to energetic jazz and rock arrangements.
