The first inaugural session of the second term of the Youth City Council of Bolesławiec was held on Thursday in the Councillors’ Hall. The young councillors from middle schools and secondary schools took their oaths and elected the council’s leadership. However, it was not a straightforward choice: in the first round of voting, none of the four candidates obtained the required simple majority of votes. It was only in the second round that the chairwoman was elected: Emilia Garbacz of the Complex of General and Vocational Schools on Komuny Paryskiej Street. Emilia is 18 years old and is in her second year.

Paweł Mazurkiewicz (the Complex of General and Vocational Schools on Komuny Paryskiej Street) became the first deputy chair, while Oskar Wilde (the Complex of Electrical Schools on Tyrankiewiczów Street) became the second deputy chair. Michał Walek (First General Secondary School on Tyrankiewiczów Street) was elected secretary.

The inaugural session of the second term of the Youth City Council was also attended by the chair of the City Council, the mayor of Bolesławiec and some adult councillors.
