The vehicle is currently being fitted with additional equipment, while the firefighters are being trained in the operation and maintenance of the brand-new vehicle, which will soon enter active service. It contains many interesting solutions, including:
- rapid-attack line (enabling water to be delivered quickly and efficiently at high pressure)
- water cannon
- extendable halogen floodlight
- heated pump compartment with direct communication with the vehicle cab
- generator enabling battery charging and, consequently, starting the vehicle in difficult conditions
- water curtains located beneath the vehicle, designed to protect the chassis
- high-power winch
- 3,000-litre water tank
- hydraulic tools, an enlarged crew cab with space for breathing apparatus behind the seats
- reversing camera.
