A large car park for visitors has been built in front of the new county office headquarters at 12 Armii Krajowej Street. It filled up immediately because residents of Bolesławiec need parking spaces in the town centre. The county office will probably be forced to charge parking fees, just as the town does at Piłsudski Square.

– Initially, we assumed that the car park would be open to everyone – informs Katarzyna Biegasiewicz-Mularczyk. – However, the way the car park is already being used indicates that it is necessary to develop a system for time-limited allocation of parking spaces. A reasonable solution would be to charge for parking, at least during the office’s working hours. A decision on this matter will only be made after the office moves to its new headquarters – adds the county office’s press spokesperson.
