Police officers from Jelenia Góra detained a 20-year-old man suspected of crimes against property. At the end of November this year, the 20-year-old broke into and robbed a car in Stara Kamienica. He stole a radio and a car stereo, worth a total of PLN 500.
It turned out that the man had committed seven other offenses in Jelenia Góra County. He stole bicycles from stairwells in Piechowice three times. He also broke into basements, stealing, among other things, bicycles, lawnmowers and brush cutters. The victims' losses amount to several thousand zlotys.
The man was detained in Piechowice. Police officers found the stolen radio and car stereo in his vehicle.
The 20-year-old confessed to the crime. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
