The Chairperson of the Municipal Electoral Commission, Judge Aleksander Żurakowski, thanked those gathered for their diligent and efficient work during the voting process and the determination of its results. For their work, the members of the Precinct Electoral Commissions received fixed-rate allowances. In accordance with the decision of the National Electoral Commission of July 28, 2014, on monetary benefits due to members of electoral commissions, these amounted to: PLN 380 for chairpersons of Precinct Electoral Commissions, PLN 330 for deputy chairpersons, and PLN 300 for members.

The repeat voting in the election for the Mayor of Legnica is ahead of us and will take place on November 30. We will vote at the same polling stations from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.. The Precinct Electoral Commissions will work with unchanged memberships.

The Legnica Branch Office of the National Electoral Commission notes that their members are public officials. This means that they enjoy the rights, particularly the protection provided to this group of persons, but are also liable as public officials for the proper performance of the duties entrusted to them on voting day and after it has ended.

They are also entitled to a fixed-rate allowance for working in the second round of the elections, but in accordance with the cited decision of the National Electoral Commission—in the case of repeat voting—it amounts to half the allowance established for members of Precinct Electoral Commissions. In this case, it will amount to: PLN 190 for chairpersons of Precinct Electoral Commissions, PLN 165 for deputy chairpersons, and PLN 150 for members.
