The incident occurred during the night of November 22–23. Officers from the Prevention Department of the Legnica Municipal Police Headquarters intervened on Piłsudskiego Street, where a young man was demolishing a bus shelter. The young man from Legnica was kicking and smashing the shelter’s glass. He did it so viciously that he seriously injured himself on a piece of glass and—instead of being taken to police custody—was transported to hospital.
Once his hospital treatment is complete, the vandal faces arrest, restriction of liberty or a fine.
