The event is being organised in connection with the opening, on November 22, of the online database of families in need for the Szlachetna Paczka project. “For us volunteers, this day is a celebration, and we want to share our joy with the residents of Legnica,” say the organisers of the march.
They add: “At the march, we will all be dressed in red. We intend to shout and sing, all in order to announce to the whole of Legnica that it is now possible to start helping families in need. How can this be done? Simply choose a family from the online database, gather a group of friends or colleagues from work, and prepare a package of aid. In this way, you help people in need win the fight against poverty.
The Szlachetna Paczka volunteers are a group of thirty people from Legnica and the surrounding area.
