We present the results as of 2:00 p.m.

  • MAŁKOWSKI Maciej Stanisław – 29.95%
  • MOSZCZYŃSKI Przemysław – 0.94%
  • POGODA Szymon Marek – 4.29%
  • ROMAN Piotr – 56.65%
  • ŻAK Piotr Przemysław – 8.17%

There are polling stations where Piotr Roman has 63% of the vote, but there are also those where he has just over 40%. His decisive rival is Maciej Małkowski. As of 2:00 p.m., the other candidates did not count.

Our pollsters said they were received warmly, but some people did not want to say whom they had voted for or answered evasively, saying they had voted for the best or most suitable candidate. Older people were afraid they were being recorded. One person shouted that they would never vote for PiS. There were also several people who proudly said they had cast an invalid ballot.

What was noteworthy was that voters were getting lost on ballots they found complicated, did not know the candidates’ names, and said they had voted for SLD, PO, PiS or Roman. Some also said they had voted for the “old” president or “the new one.”

Counting is under way; we will provide the full results in an hour.
