Bolesławiec traffic police detained a man who caused a collision while drunk. The 32-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County fled the scene. He then misled the officers. He did not have any documents with him and gave his brother’s details.
The officers quickly established, however, who he really was. As it turned out, the perpetrator of the collision was completely drunk, with 4‰ of alcohol in his system.
What is more, it emerged that he was subject to a court-ordered driving ban and had a 3-year prison sentence to serve for... driving while drunk.
