Of the 66 cities assessed, Jelenia Góra ranked 22nd (Legnica 26th, Wałbrzych 66th). The assessment covered, among other things, housing conditions, income, employment, education, the environment, health, life satisfaction, safety and the quality of local government.
The article contains interesting reflections on various aspects of life in cities, but the table itself is also worth reading, if only because, although Jelenia Góra ranked 22nd overall, it came third in the “life satisfaction” category (after Ostrołęka and Leszno, and ahead of Warsaw, Gdańsk and Wrocław!).
