The incident took place on November 7, at approximately 6:16 p.m., on Świerczewskiego Street in Łomnica (Mysłakowice commune). According to the officers’ preliminary findings, the 27-year-old Honda driver struck a 41-year-old pedestrian walking along the right edge of the road. The injured man was taken to hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.
The driver was sober. The incident occurred in the evening, and the pedestrian was not wearing any reflective element. Police appeal: reflective elements can save a life.
