The theft took place in October this year in one of the apartments in Jelenia Góra. Taking advantage of his fiancée’s absence from home, the 22-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra stole her gold jewelry: a bracelet and a ring. The victim estimated her losses at nearly PLN 600.
The man sold the stolen jewelry at a pawnshop. Police officers are carrying out activities to recover it. What is more, officers established that the 22-year-old had committed other crimes outside Jelenia Góra.
The 22-year-old admitted to the crime. He now faces up to five years in prison.
