Police officers detained a 25-year-old man suspected of burglary. The crime was committed on October 29, at around 1:50 a.m., in Jelenia Góra. The suspect broke into the basement of one of the buildings. He stole 15 kg of onions and jars of preserves: pickles, marinated mushrooms and salads.
Officers recovered the stolen supplies. The 25-year-old told the police that he wanted to sell them or simply eat them.
The man was taken into police custody. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
