The first two free screenings for organised groups were held at the Forum cinema. The preschoolers watched a selection of the latest Polish animations from the Se-ma-for film studio: “Parauszek i przyjaciele”, “Kuba i Śruba” and “Koocidrapka”, while primary school pupils watched the Chinese youth production “Mój koń Avatar”. Each screening ended with a mini film contest, with prizes consisting of gadgets donated by the Polish Filmmakers Association. The contests and workshops, attended by children from the preparatory class (Primary School No. 4), were led by animators dressed as Reksio and Tygrysek from Vesna, a company from Jelenia Góra.
Viewers who take part in the festival by 15 November and send two photographs documenting the event—for example, posing by the screening poster—to foto@asf.org.pl may win attractive prizes. Details of the contest are available on leaflets at the cinema box office; more information about the festival can be found on the Forum cinema website.
