At viewers’ request, “Gods” will be shown at Forum for one additional week, with screenings from 24–30 October at 5:00 p.m. From 31 October, “City 44” will return to the cinema screen.

The story of the beginnings of the career of renowned heart surgeon Zbigniew Religa was seen by 745,000 viewers in its first 10 days of screening in Poland. The film ranks first among the titles most eagerly watched in Polish cinemas last weekend.

“City 44” remains extremely popular; so far, Jan Komasa’s film has been seen by one and a half million viewers. This result gives “City 44” third place among all Polish historical films of the last decade, and makes it the seventh Polish production to attract 1.5 million cinema viewers over the past ten years.
