After Jelenia Góra, a Tesco petrol station will also be built in Bolesławiec. Boleslawiec.org reports that the station is planned. It will be built at the entrance to Tesco from the direction of Aleja Tysiąclecia. The start date for construction now depends largely on officials at the district office. If no administrative obstacles arise, the station will open as early as the middle of the year.
The arrival of the new station should lead to a drop in fuel prices in our city. It is no secret that prices in Bolesławiec are among the highest in the country.
High petrol and diesel prices were the subject of Thursday’s debate organized by Stowarzyszenie Młodzi Demokraci. Unfortunately, representatives of Bolesławiec’s petrol stations were absent from the meeting. The only person to appear was Jan Cołokidzi, manager of PKN Orlen SA’s Warehouse Base in Bolesławiec, who happened to be there. A heated exchange took place between him and Kazimierz Marczewski, president of the Bolesławieckie Towarzystwo Gospodarcze. The BTG president accused Bolesławiec’s station owners of colluding over fuel prices. Jan Cołokidzi explained that there was no collusion.
