Residents know best what needs to be done in their area so that they can live more safely and comfortably. It could be a sidewalk repair, a skate park, an outdoor gym, an additional car park or a playground. All ideas that fall within the range of tasks the local government can carry out may be submitted to the city budget. As last year, however, projects submitted for implementation should not cost more than PLN 100,000.
“Of course, for projects that coincide with the municipality’s investment plans, this amount may be increased,” says Mayor Robert Łężny. “This happened, for example, this year, when, in response to the applications submitted, we updated projects prepared several years ago and installed street lighting whose cost significantly exceeded the planned amount,” explains the city’s mayor.
Two weeks
To submit an investment for implementation, simply fill in the form and send it by email to: budzet2015@zawidow.eu or submit it at the Customer Service Office.
However, please remember that the proposed investment must fall within the city’s substantive responsibilities and boundaries.
Verified investment proposals will be included in the draft budget and presented for consideration to the City Council in Zawidów.
