Children taking part in the project from two preschools in Bolesławiec (No. 1 and No. 7), as well as from two Czech preschools in Lazni Libverda and Nové Město pod Smrkem, will perform in the musical and spoken-word production “A Fairytale Journey of Preschoolers”. The project is co-financed by the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund and by the state budget, with the support of the Nysa Euroregion.
Three meetings were held as part of the project. From 28 February to 2 March 2014, Polish and Czech teachers became acquainted with interesting techniques and methods for working with drama, pantomime, and verbal and movement expression during methodological workshops in Świeradów-Zdrój.
On 13 May 2014, children from the partner Czech preschools came to Bolesławiec. During the meeting, theatre workshops for children were held at the Youth Cultural Centre and the Old Theatre. On 5 June 2014, a wonderful fairytale ball took place in the Czech Republic, in Nové Město pod Smrkem. All the children were dressed as their favourite fairytale characters.
On 8 October 2014 the formal conclusion of the project will take place in the Forum cinema auditorium, featuring Polish and Czech children in the musical and spoken-word production “The Fairytale Train of Preschoolers”.
