Police have arrested a 32-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra suspected of committing at least two thefts. The suspect stole a laptop and a bicycle. The victims estimated the value of the stolen property at PLN 2,600.
Opportunity makes the thief: the Jelenia Góra resident stole the laptop because its owner had left the door to the apartment open. The suspect then took a bicycle that someone had left unattended in one of the stairwells.
The man confessed to the crime. He now faces up to five years in prison.
