Bolesławieckie PCK invites everyone to take part in the Run for Bread, whose aim is to draw the attention of city and county residents to the problem of hunger and malnutrition, as well as to popularize and promote running as a form of physical activity. The event will take place on October 11 (Saturday) in Bolesławiec. Everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of age or place of residence.

Participation requirements: a written application must be submitted at the Event Organizing Office (32 A Tysiąclecia Avenue) one hour before the start. Underage competitors may participate only with the written consent of their parents or guardians.

In addition, competitors should have valid medical examinations confirming that there are no contraindications to participating in races. If they do not have such examinations, competitors are required to submit a declaration (available for download at the Competition Office) confirming their ability to take part in the race.

Competitors should have personal identification documents: a school ID card, identity card or passport. On the day of the competition, the entry fee must also be paid in the amount of

  • children from primary schools – PLN 3
  • students from lower- and upper-secondary schools – PLN 4
  • adults – PLN 5.

The fee should be placed in the PCK collection box during race registration. The money collected will be used to purchase food for people in need

Route: Rynek – Sierpnia '80 Street – Adama Asnyka Street – Bielska Street – Łukasiewicza Street – Bankowa Street – Kościelna Street – Rynek, distance: 1,400 m. Schedule:

  • 11:00 – official opening of the event
  • 11:10 – start – primary school and lower-secondary school.
  • 11:40 – start – upper-secondary school and older, seniors
  • 12:30 – awards ceremony for the winners of the main race.
