The ceremonial opening began in front of the building, where Andrzej Dutkowski, Head of Bolesławiec Municipality, addressed those gathered. He expressed his hope that the community house would serve residents as a place for meetings and artistic and social activities. This would not have been possible without the support of Cezary Przybylski, Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, and Anna Skrzypczak-Mospan, President of the “Dolnośląska Kraina Karpia” Local Fisheries Group, who were presented with commemorative statuettes. Special thanks were also given to Artur Rogalski, owner of the “Rogalski” General Construction Company, which carried out the investment. Further words of gratitude and congratulations were offered, among others, by Stanisław Chwojnicki, Deputy Starosta of Bolesławiec, and Urszula Wieczysta, village head of Trzebień.

Meanwhile, in front of the “Jarzębina” Community House, a rowan tree was planted. The name was created in a special competition by Lenka Boć, and she planted the tree together with Andrzej Dutkowski, Head of the Municipality, and Urszula Wieczysta, the village head. At that moment, a fire engine arrived at the community house with its siren on. As the host, Beata Widera, announced, the firefighters were supposed to roll out fire hoses and water the plant. The hoses were rolled out, and then a firefighter appeared with... a watering can.

The time finally came for the ceremonial ribbon-cutting, performed by Andrzej Dutkowski, Head of Bolesławiec Municipality; Bogusław Uziej, Chair of the Bolesławiec Municipal Council; Józef Hunek, Deputy Chair of the Municipal Council; Councillor Andrzej Szwedo; and Artur Rogalski, the investment contractor. Doves flew into the sky, and Andrzej Dutkowski handed over the keys to the community house. The local parish priest, ks. Zbigniew Karaban, blessed the building, which was then opened to visitors. There was plenty to see: the spacious hall featured a photographic exhibition of selected investments carried out in Bolesławiec Municipality, a film showing the municipality from the air, works by preschoolers from the Public Preschool in Trzebień, and exhibitions by OSP Trzebień, the Rural Housewives’ Circle, and the Trzebień Association.

The first local artists then appeared on stage. They were children from the local school. Eilza Turaczyk and the first-grade children sang songs. Students from the second and third grades, as well as Nikola Zmarzła and Martyna Bachusz, demonstrated their dancing skills. Poems were recited by Aleksandra Charewicz and Martyna Bachusz. This was followed by the Janina Kraczkowska cabaret, preceded by Anna Makuch’s reading of the poem “Ziemia Trzebieniecka.” Ludwika Oleksiak and Krystyna Bachusz performed in the cabaret and entertained the audience. At the end, a poem written specially for the opening of the “Jarzębina” Community House by Ryszard Gruchawka was recited.

The star of the evening was Eleni, a Polish singer of Greek origin who probably needs no introduction. The vocalist established excellent contact with the audience, who enjoyed themselves, danced, and sang along with her. Her hits included “Troszeczkę ziemi, troszeczkę słońca,” “Przez ile dróg,” and “Przystań pod gwiazdami.” The concert ended with the singer’s moving performance of “Ave Maria.” After receiving thanks from the Head of Bolesławiec Municipality, the village head of Trzebień, and the Volunteer Fire Service, Eleni invited the youngest attendees to join her in singing “Barka.” The opening ceremony of the community house ended with a dance party led by a DJ.

The organizers of the ceremonial opening of the “Jarzębina” Community House in Trzebień were Andrzej Dutkowski, Head of Bolesławiec Municipality; the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn; and the Trzebień Village Organizing Committee.
