The pavement surface was originally gravel. In response to residents’ requests, a decision was made to cover it with a layer of asphalt. The tender announced by ZDM for modernising the path was won by one of the local companies, which submitted the most advantageous offer of PLN 216,627.22 gross.
The pavement is two kilometres long. It runs from Bartoszowicka Street to the city limits (to the Wierzbak River). Allotment gardeners, walkers and cyclists are happy to use it. In the future, it will be connected to the cycle path along Sudecka Street in the Piekary housing estate.
