For them, it is a period of particularly intensive work. Both minor repairs and major renovations are being carried out. This year in Legnica, their value exceeded PLN 1.175 million. In each case, the aim of the work was to improve the operating conditions of preschools, schools and other facilities.
There are many examples. Here are some of them. At Municipal Preschool No. 4, the kitchen facilities were remodelled at a cost of PLN 50,000. At Primary School No. 2, parts of the roof and chimneys were renovated (PLN 65,000); at “number four”, a corridor was renovated (PLN 45,000); at “number seven”, rooms and sanitary facilities were adapted to the needs of six-year-olds (PLN 155,000); while at Primary School No. 16, the sanitary facilities were remodelled for PLN 65,000. At the Special Facilities Complex, the roof and gymnasium floor were renovated (approximately PLN 50,000); at Lower Secondary School No. 5, corridors and staircases were renovated (PLN 27,000); at General Education Schools Complex No. 3, the lighting above the swimming pool is being remodelled; and at the Economic Schools Complex, the renovation of the ceramic-tile roof has been completed, with its value estimated at over PLN 550,000.
It is worth recalling that construction crews also continued, during the holidays, the revitalisation of the façade and roof of the Electrical and Mechanical Schools Complex building.
