The celebrations began with Holy Mass, after which the residents and invited guests went to the village community center, where the farmers were officially thanked for their work. “I would like to sincerely thank you for the effort you put into working on your farms every day. I am also honored to present you with a cash prize for taking second place in the district competition for the most beautiful harvest wreath, and I congratulate you warmly on behalf of the entire competition committee,” said Krystian Kosztyła, chair of the Lubin District Council.
The ceremony was enhanced by a performance from the Chór Dnia Jednego choir. After the official part of the ceremony, a dance party was held, lasting until the late hours of the night.
