The 29-year-old resident of Zgorzelec was arrested on 11 September. Police determined that since March this year, the man had committed several burglaries at retail outlets in various parts of the city (including a pawn shop and a tobacco shop).
Moreover, the 29-year-old was also suspected of breaking into cars. His loot included gold jewellery, cigarettes, women's handbags and even shoes.
The resident of Zgorzelec caused losses amounting to more than PLN 4,000. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
