Police officers from Szklarska Poręba detained a 21-year-old man suspected of burglary. The crime took place in September this year in Szklarska Poręba. The young man took advantage of the fact that the flat’s owner was not at home, forced the lock, entered the flat and robbed it. He took a television and a set-top box. The victim estimated her losses at PLN 350.
The thief was detained. It turned out that he lived in the same building as the woman he robbed. What is more, officers found the stolen set-top box in the suspect’s flat. The man had hidden it... under the bed. Efforts are currently under way to recover the television.
The 21-year-old could face up to 10 years in prison.
