Bolesławiec drivers have finally got the long-awaited renovation of the road out of Bolesławiec towards the village of Łaziska. There are no longer any potholes on the popular “Kozia Górka”. Road workers have not yet painted the lane markings or removed the signs warning of traffic lights, a road narrowing and a 40 km/h speed limit.
A Reader drew attention to the latter issue, informing us that nothing has been happening on the renovated section of road for three days, yet the temporary road signs connected with the renovation have not been covered or removed. Instead, drivers may encounter a police check there.
An incautious driver (one driving from memory) may receive a ticket, as the 40 km/h speed limit still applies there.
