On the night from Wednesday to Thursday, a garage was burgled in Bolesławiec on Gałczyńskiego Street. Among the items stolen were drills, a grinder and a vacuum cleaner. The garage owner's losses were estimated at PLN 1,240. That same night, the ABC grocery store in Świętoszów was broken into. The thieves stole cigarettes, alcohol and other food products worth PLN 4,000. The following night, thieves robbed the ABC store in Osiecznica. Here too, alcohol and cigarettes were among the items stolen. The losses also amounted to PLN 4,000.
On Thursday, two road collisions occurred in Bolesławiec and the surrounding area. At around 4:00 p.m. on Jeleniogórska Street, the driver of an Iveco struck the rear of a Peugeot and pushed it into the opposite lane. There, the Peugeot collided with an Opel Vectra. The Iveco driver was fined for causing the collision. A woman was also fined after, on Saturday in Otok, she drove a Ford off the road and hit a power pole. That same day, police officers in Bolesławiec on Staszica Street arrested a drunk driver. The 55-year-old was driving a Seat Ibiza with a blood alcohol level of 2.8 per mille. On Sunday, on the same street, a Toyota driver hit a building while reversing. The man tried to flee the scene. It turned out that the 45-year-old was also drunk. He had 2.6 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled breath.
